About GPL Crypto and our vision

Software under the GPL may be run for all purposes, including commercial purposes and even as a tool for creating proprietary software, such as when using GPL-licensed compilers. Users or companies who distribute GPL-licensed works (e.g. software), may charge a fee for copies or give them free of charge.

GPLv2 License

if you distribute copies of a program using the GPL License, whether completely free or against a charged fee, you must provide the recipients with the equal rights that you received as well. You have to make sure that they, too, receive or can get the source code with the rights of selling or handing out free copies. You must also  show them these terms so that they are aware of it at all times.

What is the GPL License?

Most people are familiar with the term ‘open source.’ It basically means that a piece of software, or code, that is free to use. You’re free to use, copy, study, change, improve or redistribute the software as you please. WordPress for example is open source software and is founded upon the GPL (General Public License).

Can I use or sell GPL Licensed Software?

Yes, you are allowed to use and resell GPL Licensed Software along as you do not change the licensing model and as long as you inform the receipting party who is going to use the GPL Licensed Software. Developers are allowed to charge a fee for their software when you purchase it but you are also allowed to charge a fee for it after you received it with the exact same rights as the developer who made it or the person who once purchased it and resold or gave it to you to exploit further. You are completely free to do with it what you want at all times it is completely legal to download the plugins, themes or any type of software from this site. You can download as much as you wish and there is no limitation applied to you after purchasing it from us that will place you in a different position then ourselves, meaning you have full rights to do as you please as long as you follow up with the GPL License distribution parameters.

Owning a website in the digital age should not be expensive

Keeping in mind that we are living in the digital ages and that a lot of new forms of open sourced technology are taking its competing place a website in these days should not be an expensive cost to maintain. Many developers are selling their code under the GPL License at huge prices, there has been alot of attention or disputes claiming that GPL Licensed Software Redistribution is an unethical practice. However, these are completely false statements knowing that according to the official documents and laws around the Open-Source / GPL Licensed content are allowed to be used, modified, redistributed, shared or provided as a service by any party at all times without the limitations, distractions or royalty fee duties in any form. Whether you have a high or low income shouldn’t matter the future of the freedom of GPL Licensed Content goes a far way and it should be without saying that the redistribution model of GPL Licensed Content should maintain its original and proper freedom rights without neglecting those that purchase or redistribute any GPL Licensed software’s.

In case you require any technical support you can either find someone on the internet or hire us to help you solve your issues. We have the rights to deny the request in case we believe that there is to much involved to get your request executed properly. There is always a link to the original page of the vendor/developer we believe that we are stating perfectly clear that while the products on GPL Crypto are the original products from the developers that we also link back to and fully respect and appreciate that the products on GPL Crypto are not developed by us nor are we the original distributors of the software’s that we are selling or granting access to. We are simply redistributing the software as is our right to do so under the GPL Licensing Model.
